Renaissance Stitch-Along

A new SAL is starting soon, with cross stitch as well as blackwork sampler options. The design is inspired by 16th-century needlework patterns from France, Italy, and Germany. An introductory PDF explains the background of the project, gives the charts for cross stitch and blackwork templates following a 3 x 3 grid, and provides information on design size, floss requirements, etc. There is also an alternative 3 x 6 template that allows you to stitch both the cross stitch and the blackwork patterns in a single sampler. The first of nine monthly pattern releases will begin on March 1, 2026 and continue on the first of each month through November 2026.
