I’m offering two different *free* sampler SALs: one is a cross-stitch tile design, the other is inspired by medieval Egyptian blackwork. Each has weekly installments, running for about nine months.

### Cross-Stitch Tiles SAL

For an introductory file introducing and explaining the SAL, including templates and border options, click here. For a PDF offering alternative border options and small projects using the sampler squares, click here. The pattern for the first square in a 36-square sampler was posted on Saturday, Sept. 24. Each remaining square is then posted weekly, every Saturday. Depending on the border option you choose, the stitch count for the finished design will range from 209×209 to 219×219. There is a Facebook group for this SAL, offering additional designs and tips. Weekly releases will be linked below as they are made available.
